Hey everybody - Does anybody know whats going on with this direct sale company? I heard they went bankrupt in January but their website is still up? My daughter was planning to sign up as a consultant but now she's afraid she might lose her money. Any info would be great. Thanks!

Hey everybody, watch out for this one. It's just about ruined my life.
I answered a Monster.com job ad posted by a guy named William Lesoe (supposedly), saying he represented a company called Insync Soft in Prague in the Czech Republic. They said they needed people with experience using Paypal. The job promised to pay 10% on any transactions I helped to facilitate. Then I got a follow up email saying Paypal wasn't allowed in his country, so they needed somebody on the outside to be a middleman to receive the money from their customers buying their software products.
It seemed okay, and I already had a Paypal account set up, so I sent them my logon info. I started receiving credit card payments, like they said would happen, and then I was supposed to send the money to them by Western Union and I could keep 10% as my profit.
The scam was that it turned out there weren't any real customers and the payments were made on stolen credit cards. The credit card companies filed chargebacks on Paypal to recover the money and Paypal came after me.
I spoke with a lady named Gloria at Paypal's account resolution department but she said they couldn't do anything because I agreed to be the the primary person on the Paypal account and they don't allow their account holders to act as intermediaries for others, so I had to cover the money out of my own pocket. I've lost almost $10,000 and I had to sell my car to cover it. I checked with monster.com and all they could tell me was that the ad's been removed.
The Better Business Bureau told me there's also a company called Ross Soft (that's owned by a Kevin Lesoe) and Eastern Exchange advertising on job boards that say they have work at home jobs processing Paypal transactions.
PLEASE don't fall into the trap like I did.

I'm expecting my first baby in a few months. I REALLY want to work at home, especially for the first couple of years. Right now I have a department store job on the fragrance bar. I know it's a long shot, but does anybody have any ideas of how I can use my expertise in a work at home job opportunity?
I'll watch for comments. Really appreciate it.

I feel really stupid to admit it, but I got screwed by these crooks. I thought I was signing up for a home business - assembling a variety of products for them. But once they got my personal info and credit card number, they started piling on the charges every month, and I never received a single kit.

When I called the BBB, they advised me to do the following and FINALLY, it's stopped but it's been a very bad experience.
If somebody gets a hold of your financial info, here's what you need to do.
1. Call the bank or credit card company up and close the account due to fraud.
2. Ask the fraud department of your bank or CC company to get reimbursement.
3. Set up a new account that the scumbags don't know about.
Now I know that all these online assembly jobs are fronts for crooks. Don't sign up for any of them.
